Abstract:
Ejaculation is the most important part of male sexual response. It is related not only to human reproduction, but also to sexual satisfaction of both men and women. Premature ejaculation or anejaculation is likely to cause male infertility and seriously affects the patient's quality of sexual life as well. In recent years, the study of male sexual dysfunction has attracted more and more biomedical researchers. However, previous studies have focused on the relationship between ejaculatory and peripheral or central neurotransmitters. The central physiological and pathological mechanisms underlying ejaculation and ejaculatory dysfunction, including premature ejaculation, remain unclear. This article reviews the central regulatory mechanism of ejaculation function and offers a deeper insight into the correlation of ejaculation behavior with the central nervous system and psychological factors, aiming to promote the development of more effective and practical biological indicators for the diagnosis and therapeutic effect evaluation of ejaculatory dysfunction.

The Micturition Reflex
The process begins with bladder filling, where the bladder wall stretches as urine accumulates. This stretching activates the urine storage reflex, mediated by the sacral spinal segments and the pontine storage center. Efferent sympathetic impulses stimulate the detrusor muscle to relax and the internal urethral sphincter to contract, facilitating...
