    Conclusions:

    • Occupations involving frequent interpersonal contact with potentially volatile individuals are high-risk.
    • Workplace violence prevention programs should focus on recognizing and managing specific risk factors.
    • Interventions should consider tailored curricula for different genders and occupational groups to reduce workplace violence.
