Abstract:
Mistreatmen of older adults : scientific knowledge and practice avenues. Drawn from recent, high-level quality research (meta-analyses, systematic recensions, synthesis reports), a summary of the state of scientific knowledge on the mistreatment of older adults is developed across five themes: definition, extent, risk factors, consequences, and practices. A critical reflection and intervention approaches are included.
