Abstract:
Molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) is considered as an ideal substrate for hybridizing with functional groups, to form MoS2-based nanocomposites. Such nanocomposites possess charming properties due to synergistic effects, greatly broadening the applications of MoS2 and its derivatives. In this review, we focus on the advances of noble metal nanostructure-decorated MoS2 (MoS2-NMNs) nanocomposites. First, we summarize the synthesis methods for preparation of MoS2-NMNs nanocomposites. Then, the applications of MoS2-NMNs nanocomposites are reviewed. Finally, we discuss the prospects and challenges of MoS2-NMNs nanocomposites for the future.
