Researchers identified TSLC1 as a potential biomarker for Human T-lymphotropic virus type 1-associated myelopathy/tropical spastic paraparesis (HAM/TSP) disease activity. Elevated TSLC1 in CD4-positive T cells may indicate worsening HAM/TSP symptoms.
