A brief survey is given of the aetiology, treatment of the disease, of their own material and of the results of surgery of 112 patients. It was found that operation was performed in 5-6% of the cases for recurrences which seems to be an acceptable ratio. Only minimal residual complaints occurred, the patients working capacity was not reduced, they had good wrist function. Patients were satisfied with the operation.
