Abstract:
I question the problem of psychology as a science posed in the target article. Instead of attempting to establish a fixed vocabulary, I advocate for the benefits of adjusting concepts to each study - concepts just-in-time - since this is in line with the phenomenon we study in psychology. On the other hand, to develop psychology as a science we need to develop some common approaches. Here I agree that evolutionary psychology has the potential to frame this since evolutionary psychology focuses on the whole human in relation to environment and development in time with all the variability this gives. Especially to focus on the processes rather than the established entities is promising.
