Simpson's rule accurately determines right ventricular ejection fraction in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients. This 2D echocardiography method offers reproducible and precise measurements for better patient management.

  • Chronic cor pulmonale is a serious complication of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
