Combining adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs) with a bioengineered cardiac patch improved cell survival and cardiac function in a rat model of ischemic cardiomyopathy. This approach enhanced neovascularization and reduced fibrosis, offering a promising strategy for cardiac regeneration.
