Choosing the right laser for rhinology can be challenging. This review summarizes recent literature on laser applications in nasal conditions, aiding surgeons in selecting optimal treatments.

Background:

The diverse and expanding applications of lasers in rhinology present a challenge for surgeons in selecting the most suitable device for specific conditions.
Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in laser technology and their clinical outcomes is crucial for effective patient care.

Purpose of the Study:

To provide a comprehensive summary of recent literature on laser applications in rhinology.
To assist surgeons in making informed decisions regarding laser treatment selection for various nasal conditions.

Main Methods:

A systematic literature search was conducted using the PubMed database for studies published between 2000 and 2020.
Keywords included "laser," "rhinology," "endonasal endoscopic surgery," "hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia," "rhinitis," "refractory rhinitis," "inferior turbinate hypertrophy," "dacryocystorhinostomy," "septoplasty," "cartilage reshaping," and "choanal atresia."
