Abstract
Case:
In this case report, we present an adult man who sustained bilateral rectus abdominis and adductor longus avulsions with associated symphyseal instability while playing hockey. The injury was managed surgically, and the patient returned to preinjury level of function.
Conclusion:
To our knowledge, this is the first reported case of such a bilateral injury. The surgical management and outcome add to the current literature, which lacks adequate evidence on the most effective management for injuries of this type.
