Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate the efficacy of an enhanced pulsed dye laser (PDL) for treating various forms of facial dyschromia.
  • To assess the effectiveness of advanced PDL features, including radiofrequency (RF) addition and cooling options.

Main Methods:

  • Thirteen patients with facial dyschromia received treatments using an enhanced 595 nm PDL with adjustable spot sizes (5-15 mm) and fluences (8-18 J/cm²).
  • Treatments incorporated contact cooling or cryogen spray, and some patients received additional radiofrequency (RF) energy.
  • Improvement was assessed via standardized photographic evaluation by blind observers.
