Summary

Left Anterior Right Temporal (LART) electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) placement shows promise for improved efficacy and reduced cognitive side effects compared to bitemporal ECT. Computational modeling suggests LART enhances left cingulate stimulation while reducing hippocampal stimulation.
