Penile angiomyxoma is a rare tumor that can grow aggressively. Preoperative exams often fail to identify this benign tumor type, necessitating vigilant surgical approaches.

Background:

Angiomyxoma is a rare benign tumor characterized by aggressive, invasive growth and a high propensity for relapse.
Published literature contains very few case reports detailing tumors with this specific morphology.

Observation:

This paper presents an exceedingly rare case of penile angiomyxoma.
Preoperative examinations in this case were insufficient to suspect the specific tumor type.

Findings:

The morphology of penile angiomyxoma can evade definitive preoperative diagnosis.
This diagnostic challenge underscores the importance of considering malignancy even when a tumor is presumed benign.

Implications:

Physicians must maintain a high index of suspicion for cancer when evaluating penile masses.
