Abstract:
Bone volume restoration is of particular importance when planning orthopedic treatment based on dental implants. Bone deficiency resulting from tooth loss, injuries, jaw neoplasms, or inflammatory diseases excludes the possibility of implant placement without special preparation. Autograft is the "gold standard" of osteoplastic material, but the limited volume and additional traumatization make it difficult to use. Prospects for the restoration of bone defects are opened by a 3D tissue-engineered osteograft obtained by direct differentiation from a chondrograft in an osteogenic medium in vitro, which is osteogenic tissue with high regenerative potential.
