    Background:

    • Amblyopia, or lazy eye, is a common childhood condition affecting 2-5% of children.
    • If left untreated before age six, amblyopia often persists into adulthood.
    • Anisometropic amblyopia, caused by unequal refractive error between eyes, is a significant cause of reduced vision.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To evaluate the effectiveness of virtual reality (VR) dichoptic training for treating anisometropic amblyopia in adults.
    • To analyze treatment outcomes in adult patients with a history of childhood amblyopia.
    • To assess the potential of VR as a therapeutic tool for visual rehabilitation in adults.

    Main Methods:

    • Retrospective analysis of 84 adult patients diagnosed with anisometropic amblyopia.
    • Participants underwent 8 VR training sessions using Oculus Rift, twice weekly for 60 minutes each.
    • Best Corrected Visual Acuity (BCVA) was measured before and after the VR training intervention.
