  • The patient had a history of prior SARS-CoV-2 infection.

Findings:

  • The patient successfully underwent a right upper lobectomy for primary adenocarcinoma via video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery.
  • No complications were observed during the early postoperative phase.

Implications:

  • This case suggests that prior SARS-CoV-2 infection may not preclude successful thoracic surgery once radiologic resolution is achieved.
  • Further research is warranted to confirm the safety of subsequent surgical procedures in patients with a history of SARS-CoV-2 infection.
