Metastatic adenocarcinoma from the colon can spread to the tonsils, even after initial treatment. F-FDG PET/CT scans can help detect these unusual metastatic sites, such as tonsil cancer.

- A 54-year-old female smoker with a history of invasive rectosigmoid adenocarcinoma underwent surgical resection and chemotherapy.
