A translational comparison of contingency-based progressive delay procedures and their effects on contextually

Schedule thinning, a key treatment for problem behavior, was studied using two methods: differential reinforcement of alternative behavior and differential reinforcement of other behavior. Both methods showed tolerance, but alternative behavior reinforcement led to more appropriate responses.
