Background:
- Traditional statistical methods struggle with indeterminate or uncertain data.
- Neutrosophic statistics offers a framework to handle imprecise information.
Purpose of the Study:
- To introduce and apply the semi-average method within the framework of neutrosophic statistics.
- To analyze trend regression lines in the presence of neutrosophic data.
- To evaluate the efficiency of the neutrosophic semi-average method compared to classical methods.
Main Methods:
- Introduction of the semi-average method under neutrosophic statistics.
- Development of a trend regression line for data with Neutrosophy.
- Application using wind speed data exhibiting indeterminacy.
Main Results:
- The semi-average method under neutrosophic statistics was successfully applied to wind speed data.
- The proposed method effectively models trends in data with indeterminacy.
- Comparison indicated advantages over the classical semi-average method.
Conclusions:
- The neutrosophic semi-average method is an effective, informative, and flexible tool for wind speed forecasting.
- This approach provides a robust way to handle uncertainty in time series data.
- The study highlights the utility of neutrosophic statistics in practical forecasting applications.
