Background:

Humanization in healthcare aims to promote respectful and welcoming work environments.
Nursing educators face unique challenges in achieving humanization due to their roles.

Purpose of the Study:

To explore the challenges of humanization at work from the perspective of Nursing educators.
To identify key factors hindering humanization in nursing education settings.

Main Methods:

Qualitative, descriptive, and exploratory study.
Semi-structured interviews conducted with 19 Nursing educators.
Thematic analysis of data, focusing on interpersonal relationships and work organization.

Main Results:

Key challenges include negative interpersonal dynamics, such as lack of respect and communication issues.
Work overload, excessive tasks, and work pressures significantly impede humanization efforts.
Both relational aspects and work organization were identified as major barriers.

Conclusions:

Interpersonal relationships and work organization are critical challenges to workplace humanization in nursing education.
These challenges negatively affect educator health and compromise the development of healthy, welcoming workspaces.
Findings contrast with the goals of the National Humanization Policy.
