Oxidative Stress as a Risk Factor for Hearing Changes in HIV-positive Normal Listeners

Hearing loss in HIV+ individuals is common, even with normal audiometry. This study found poorer audiological findings in HIV+ patients, particularly those on antiretroviral therapy, indicating subclinical auditory alterations.
