[Immunologic aspects of idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy]

Pathological and clinical aspects of primary cardiomyopathies are briefly discussed in the first part of the review. The immunological mechanisms involved in the pathogenesis of dilated cardiomyopathy are then summarized with more details, owing to the elevated number of scientific data concerning the disease. The Authors also discuss about the fields to be further clarified in the next future in order to gain better knowledge on the pathogenesis of idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy.
