Soluble CD59 in peritoneal dialysis: a potential biomarker for peritoneal membrane function.

Soluble CD59 (sCD59) in plasma and dialysate may predict peritoneal membrane failure and loss of kidney function in peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients. This finding offers a new tool for managing PD patients and improving outcomes.
