Fatty liver is an independent risk factor for gallbladder polyps

Gallbladder polyps are linked to fatty liver disease, a significant finding for metabolic health. Sarcopenia and visceral obesity were not associated with gallbladder polyps in this study.

Conclusions:
- Fatty liver is closely associated with gallbladder polyps.
- This association is independent of sarcopenia and visceral obesity.
