Extended-amygdala intrinsic functional connectivity networks: A population study.

The extended amygdala, including the bed nucleus of the stria terminalis (BST) and central nucleus of the amygdala (CeA), shows overlapping functional networks. Intrinsic functional connectivity within BST-CeA was not heritable, but BST connectivity with other amygdala regions was.
