Comparative study between fixed-angle and polyaxial screws in distal radius fixation with two volar locking plates

Fixed-angle and polyaxial screws show similar protrusion rates in distal radius fractures. Polyaxial screws better preserve radial height, while fixed-angle screws may have shorter protrusions. Dorsal screw protrusion is common with both systems.
