Association between BDNF rs6265 polymorphisms and postoperative cognitive dysfunction in Chinese Han Population.

Brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) rs6265 polymorphisms may influence early postoperative cognitive dysfunction (POCD). The A>G mutant at rs6265 appears protective against POCD within 7 days after surgery in the Chinese Han population.
