A rare cause of postmenopausal hyperandrogenism

This case report highlights a rare cause of postmenopausal hyperandrogenism: mucinous cystadenoma. Surgical removal of the ovarian tumor normalized testosterone levels, resolving severe virilization symptoms.

- This case represents the sixth documented instance of mucinous adenoma-induced virilization in postmenopausal women.
