Sex differences for predicting metabolic syndrome by adipose dysfunction markers in institutionalized elderly

Metabolic syndrome (MetS) is a risk factor for elderly. Adipose dysfunction markers like VAI and TG/HDL ratio predict MetS in women, while LAP predicts it in men.
