  • To map the current state of scientific literature on nursing research competence instruments.

  • A scoping review following Arksey and O'Malley's framework and Levac et al.'s recommendations.
  • Searches of eight English and two Chinese databases (December 1-31, 2020).
  • Methodological quality assessment using the COnsensus-based Standards for the selection of health Measurement INstruments (COSMIN) methodology.

Main Results:

  • This section will present the findings of the scoping review once completed.
  • Results will detail the identified instruments, their measurement properties, and methodological quality.
  • A summary of the current landscape of instruments for measuring nursing research competence will be provided.
