Influenza Vaccination and Hospitalizations Among COVID-19 Infected Adults

Receiving an influenza vaccine may reduce the risk of severe Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outcomes, including hospitalization and intensive care unit admission. This finding suggests a potential public health benefit for widespread influenza vaccination during the COVID-19 pandemic.
