Longitudinal voxel-based morphometry (VBM) shows good to excellent reliability for assessing brain changes in healthy elderly, mild cognitive impairment (MCI), and Alzheimer's disease (AD) patients over two years. Reliability may be influenced by disease-related factors like head motion.
