Programmed death-1 (PD-1) blockade with sintilimab combined with chemoradiotherapy shows promise as neoadjuvant treatment for locally advanced gastric cancer. This approach demonstrated an acceptable safety profile and significant pathological responses in three patients, suggesting a potential new therapeutic strategy.
