[Intra-oral Perineurioma, a case report]

• A 48-year-old female presented with a 3-year history of a slow-growing, asymptomatic intra-oral mass.
• A 5 cm well-defined tumor was located in the right cheek, with intact overlying mucosa and skin.
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) suggested a solitary mass with benign features.

Findings:

• Histopathological examination confirmed a soft tissue perineurioma.
• The tumor exhibited benign characteristics on imaging and pathology.
• Surgical excision was the chosen treatment modality.

Implications:

• This case highlights the importance of considering rare soft tissue tumors in the differential diagnosis of intra-oral masses.
• Accurate histopathological diagnosis is crucial for appropriate management of perineuromas.
• Early detection and surgical management can lead to favorable outcomes for benign intra-oral tumors.
