Comparative study between idiopathic and non-idiopathic dystonia: a prospective observational study

Idiopathic dystonia typically begins earlier and is often isolated. Non-idiopathic dystonia, frequently caused by drugs or perinatal issues, more commonly presents as generalized or hemidystonia.

- Acquired factors are the primary cause of non-idiopathic dystonia, with hemidystonia exclusively found in this subgroup.
