Severe deep neck space infection caused by Eggerthia catenaformis

A severe deep neck infection caused by Eggerthia catenaformis in a 64-year-old woman required multiple surgeries and intensive care. Prompt surgical intervention and antimicrobial therapy led to a full recovery.
