Genetic polymorphisms in lncRNAs predict recurrence of ischemic stroke

Genetic variations in long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) were studied for ischemic stroke (IS). The MEG3 rs4081134 polymorphism showed a reduced risk of IS recurrence, particularly in specific patient groups.
