RDW Value may Increase the Diagnostic Accuracy of MPS

Elevated Red Cell Distribution Width (RDW) levels in patients undergoing myocardial perfusion scintigraphy (MPS) correlate with more severe coronary artery disease. This finding suggests RDW can help avoid unnecessary coronary angiography.
