Defining carotid near-occlusion with full collapse: a pooled analysis

A new definition for near-occlusion with full collapse in carotid stenosis improves recurrent stroke prediction. This definition, based on distal internal carotid artery (ICA) diameter and ICA ratio, offers better prognostic discrimination than traditional methods.
