Summary

Bacteriophage therapy efficacy can be limited by neutralizing antibodies. This study in rabbits showed antibodies rise after 3 weeks, suggesting bacteriophages are best for acute bacterial infections (<2 weeks). For longer treatments, consider phage cocktails.
