Hasubanan alkaloids with anti-inflammatory activity from Stephania longa

Two new hasubanan alkaloids were isolated from Stephania longa. Three compounds, longanone, cephatonine, and prostephabyssine, showed significant anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting tumor necrosis factor-alpha and interleukin-6 production.
