- Elevated circulating neprilysin independently predicts composite CV and cardiac events in hemodialysis patients.
- These findings highlight neprilysin as a potential therapeutic target for reducing CV risk in HD patients.
- Further research into neprilysin inhibition for CV event reduction in HD is warranted.
