Hypocalcemia After Completion Thyroidectomy for Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma.

This study found no significant difference in postoperative hypocalcemia rates between total thyroidectomy and completion thyroidectomy for papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC). Risk factors like age, tumor size, or surgeon experience did not predict hypocalcemia after PTC surgery.
