Purpose of the Study:

  • To identify sociodemographic, clinical, and lifestyle factors associated with stroke recurrence in Cameroon.

Conclusions:

  • The study identified key factors associated with stroke recurrence in Cameroon.
  • Suboptimal drug adherence and adherence to non-pharmacologic interventions require further investigation.
  • Findings underscore the need for comprehensive stroke management strategies tailored to the Cameroonian context.
