Racial differences in the systemic inflammatory response to prostate cancer

Systemic inflammation markers, neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and monocyte-to-lymphocyte ratio (MLR), did not differ between prostate cancer cases and controls overall. However, higher NLR and MLR were observed in white controls compared to white cases, particularly for non-aggressive cancers.
