Sequencing and Reconstructing Helminth Mitochondrial Genomes Directly from Genomic Next-Generation Sequencing Data

We developed a new DNA extraction and computational method to reconstruct novel mitochondrial genomes from next-generation sequencing data. This approach is efficient for species lacking existing mitochondrial genome information and useful for metagenomics.
