Retinal Sensitivity and Structural Changes after Focal Photocoagulation for Diabetic Macular Edema: A Multisectorial

Focal macular laser treatment for diabetic macular edema (DME) causes small reductions in retinal sensitivity and outer nuclear layer thickness in treated areas. These changes correlate with the number of laser spots applied.
