Benzoic acid complexes with Eudragit E100®: New alternative antimicrobial preservatives

Novel polyelectrolyte complexes using benzoic acid and Eudragit E100 show promise as cosmetic preservatives. These complexes exhibit effective antibacterial activity against E. coli, even at a neutral pH.
