Abstract:
Scholarship forms the scientific basis of advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) practice. Although the number of manuscripts from APRNs has grown, the vast majority of APRNs do not publish works that affect practice, education, research, or policy. Many APRNs are unaware of resources, such as a writing coach and an editor, that facilitate producing publishable scholarship. This article describes the similarities and differences of the two resources.
